Natural dog toys aren’t the easiest things to find, you can find “eco friendly” dog toys but eco friendly to me doesn’t always mean natural. A few years ago I found Purrfect Play talk about tough natural toys! My dog has a couple of their bones, a few of their mitten and carrot toys and of course their wooly balls, I don’t know how Pam has stayed in business since her toys are virtually indestructible unlike synthetic toys that you have to keep replacing and they are made in the USA! You can get the bones with or without squeakers (my dog prefers toys with squeakies in them) you can also get both the bones and wool balls in many different sizes, I have three different size wool balls, two different size bones, two different size carrots and mittens.

Puurfect Play’s bones are made from organic cotton. I’m not sure if you can get the mitten or carrots, Pam sent them to me to test out, my dog loved both of them! They are now offering a new Fortune Flyer Dog toy I haven’t tested it out yet but I’m sure it is just as great as their other toys. They also sell some wonderful all natural bar soap and dog collars (I have both and love them).
My dog likes squeaky balls as well, I bought these hemp balls a few years ago, while they aren’t as indestructible as the toys from Purrfect Play and they aren’t 100% natural (the cover is natural hemp but the fill is poly) my dog loves them! These balls are a bit tricky to find, the company I purchased these from a few years ago are out of stock right now but I was able to find them on amazon.com by Doggles
Simply Fido.com offers Natural toys and while they are adorable they are no where near as indestructible as Purrfect Play. I have purchased quite a number of Simply Fido toys, they are not only expensive but my dog rips them apart in a matter of a day just like all his synthetic toys. If your dog isn’t a shredder when it comes to toys these may be an option for you.

This year I decided I wanted a Natural Bed for my dog, so I spent some time the last few days looking online and while I found some natural beds they were all somewhat boring. I don’t want just a rectangle or round bed in bold colors. I want something that will match my decor. I finally came across See Scout Sleep WOW talk about awesome dog beds! These beds are made from natural / organic materials, the outer shell is made from hemp (the shell can be washed) the inner has two section the bottom is filled with buckwheat hulls, the other side is natural kopok filler (similar to cotton but it will bounce back to it’s original shape when your dog gets up). The buckwheat molds to the body to help with pressure points on your dog while the kopok offers plush comfort.

As for my dog, he absolutely loves his See Scout Sleep bed! He prefers the buckwheat hull side and I’ve washed the outer cover a few times and it looks like new every time I put it back on the bed.
