Help! I moved from my dream kitchen to a workable space in Portland. Hardwood already in. White appliances to be replaced with used ones. Biggest challenge is cabinets. They are flat – no trim at all. Any suggestions? Also sad I did not bring my original school house fixture from my Craftsman in San Fran. They have flouresctent.
Don’t have a big budget.
Thanks for any help
Hi Lisa, that must have been hard to leave behind your dream kitchen, school house fixture and a craftsman home, that’s one of my favorite style homes! For the cabinets I would put molding on them, you can use a simple molding just to give it a little definition then paint the cabinets. You can also check cragislist or freecylce for lighting (or school house fixtures etc). If your appliances aren’t in the best shape you can look into using appliance paint on them. Keep me updated I’d love to see what you do with your kitchen!
