I want to thank Olympic Paint & Good Housekeeping for sponsoring the series of posts I have done this summer using Olympic paint and stain. This post is sponsored however, all opinions are my own.
A few months ago I shared my living room makeover using Olympic One paint. If you missed that post be sure to check it out to see how the living room looked before!
I don’t have kids to “mess” the walls up in my house but I somehow manage to get marks on the walls like in the photo below. I’ve had a few marks since painting the walls this summer but, I am happy to report they wiped off easily with a wet paper towel.
If you recall, I was a little apprehensive on using such a dark color on one wall in my living room but that wall has quickly become my favorite paint color in the house. So much so, I am now considering a medium to darker color for my office when I get around to repainting it.
The color above is Olympic Knights Armor
The upper walls color in this photo is Olympic Quill
For those who know me well you know I have been a serious ‘paint snob’ for many years. I was not willing to try any paint other then the one I had used for years due to not being thrilled with a cheap brand I tried several years ago. I am so happy I have tested out Olympic One paint! I absolutely love how easy this paint was to work with and I do not see a difference between the finish Olympic One provides vs the very expensive paint I used to use. Why spend added money when this paint has proven to be just as good? I’d rather put the extra money saved from the paint purchase to something else when I’m doing a room makeover.
Be sure to check back as I continue to test out Olympic products! If you haven’t tried Olympic One yet give it a shot you may just be pleasantly surprised!

I am just about to buy paint for my living room. I have to cheek them out.
These photos look great! I love the colors you used, so calming.
I love the way the light plays off the paint, and the way all of the colors come together to make the room look timeless. I think it takes bravery to even start out on this kind of a makeover. I need somebody to come to my house and embark on a renovation. Hint: You are invited.
Your home is gorgeous! I’m considering repainting the apartment so we don’t have to pay anyone to do it… if that happens will definitely need to check out this paint.
From a paint snob, this is saying a heck of a lot. I think I’m pretty fond of that gray color too!
Like many of your readers, I am about to begin a major home improvement project and this post came to my attention at the perfect time.
I’ve never tried that paint. I’ll have to look into it. Love that dark color!
I have never used Olympic One Paint – I am in the process of redoing our home – I will check out their paint colors.

I’m loving the Olympic Knights Armor paint. The Olympic Quill is nice as well and I think it would be a good choice with the type of decor we have.
