Today I was able to prep the driveway and deck/porch for tomorrows work! I will be staining the deck/porch in a dark wood stain to, hopefully, give it a hardwood look. I have two sections left to install the lattice which will be done this weekend as well. I am using a product called Driveway Dressup, it’s a paint made specifically for asphalt driveways, the purpose is to give the dark black appearance of new asphalt. I spent the day power washing the driveway and pulling weeds from the landscape. I also power washed the deck and house. Once these two projects are done all that will be left to do for the exterior this year is putting a piece of stone on my bbq area as a work surface as well as stone on top of a built in bench seat. I’m considering doing a water feature as well but that is still up in the air. I hung my new American Flag up a few weeks ago. I still can’t get over the difference painting the railings, shutters and garage door in white have done, it looks like a completely different house!
