These diy embroidery hoop ornaments have been the easiest ornaments I have ever made. I don’t know why I haven’t made these sooner! I really wanted to make some ornaments this year in different shades of gray to go with my new wall colors, so I used some gray felt ribbon that I already had in the house. The only things I purchased to make these ornaments were the embroidery hoops (about $1.30 each) and some white felt.
Supplies you will need:
- Ribbon, felt or other material you want to use
- Scissors
- Embroidery Hoops (the ones I used are 4 inches)
Step One: Unscrew the top, lay the smaller hoop down and layer your pieces of ribbon slightly overlapping the pieces.
Step Two: Push the bigger hoop over the smaller one. Tighten the screw.
Step Three: Turn the hoop over and trim the fabric.
That’s it! Super easy right? I made about 10 of these in less than an hour!
Be sure to check back next week for the Secret Santa Blog Tour, you won’t want to miss this! The week after that is our Annual Christmas Home Tour!
